Service Agreement

Plan: B Cleaning LLC Services Agreement

This service agreement is between_______________________________________ (hereafter “Customer”) and Plan: B Cleaning, LLC (hereafter “Plan: B Cleaning”).

IN CONSIDERATION OF the mutual benefits and obligations set forth in the Agreement, the receipt of and sufficiency of which consideration is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:


1. Payment Details

Contract is considered valid under the following terms and conditions:

The parties agree that Customer shall pay a Fee of $________________ for every clean. Payment options are cash, check, and credit/debit card. No partial payments will be accepted, nor refunds given. Your account must have a credit card on file. If payment is not left at the time of service your card will be charged the following business day. You will be invoiced or refunded for any overage or balance remaining on your account. If no payment is left and your credit card is declined, full payment is due seven days from your cleaning. We reserve the right to discontinue services until all payments are made in full. A 50% deposit is required for initial or one time cleans.


2. Price Adjustments

A lot of thought and experience will go into creating a maintenance price for your home. However, circumstances of your home may change. Changes in the number of people and pets are a good example. Plan: B Cleaning expressly reserves the right to adjust the maintenance price for your home at any time. If Plan: B Cleaning elects to do so, a new estimate will be submitted for your review and approval.


3. Returned Checks

There is a $35 NSF Fee for checks returned unpaid from your bank in addition to the unpaid

balance. This fee will be added to your current balance and will be due immediately.

4. Late Fees

If payment is not received within seven days of your cleaning a $10.00 late fee will be applied to

your invoice.


5. Customization

We understand that each home is unique. Whether it be areas that are off limits, items that you do not wish to be cleaned, or if you have a specific cleaning product you would like us to use we can adapt our service to please you within our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse using any products we deem potentially damaging to your home or our employees. You fully release us from damage that could potentially be caused by the use of products and/or tools you provide. We insist on using our vacuums but would be glad to change out the vacuum bag for $5.


Requests must be made 48 hours before your cleaning. Any requests made after this time will be subject to our scheduling availability. If you are removing areas of your home from the clean in less than 48 hours, we reserve the right to charge for the normal cleaning price.


6. Arrival Time

Your cleaners will do their best to arrive and leave within the window of time scheduled. However, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time given that there are so many outside factors contributing to any given day.​ Your cleaning team has a one-hour arrival window around the confirmation time provided. A courtesy call will be provided if the team will arrive more than 30 minutes before or after their scheduled arrival.


7. Entry/Lockout

We ask that you please provide us with some method for entering your home if and when you are not at home when we arrive. Possible methods include keys, garage door code, or a garage door opener. If you have an alarm system, we would prefer that you leave your alarm off on the day of your cleaning. Otherwise, we would appreciate you giving us instructions on how to operate it.


We request that you do not leave a hidden key (ie under the mat) or leave your home unlocked. You agree to release Plan: B Cleaning of any liability of theft or vandalism in situations where you do not leave your home secure before and after the cleaning. If you discontinue services, you will be required to pick up the key at our office. Keys not collected in 60 days will be disposed of.


If we are not able to enter your home due to any reason (including non-functioning keypad, wrong entry code, aggressive animals) you will be charged 100% of your Service Fee. If we are forced to enter your home late, we reserve the right to forego cleaning certain areas because of time constraints and you will still be charged 100% of your Service Fee. If alarms are triggered accidentally, we are not responsible for any fees associated and/or incurred as response to the alarm.


8. Confirmations

Confirmations are sent out 7 business days prior to your cleaning. You are not required to confirm cleaning. No response will be assumed as a confirmation. Please see Cancellation and Lock Out policies.


9. Changes in Service

If you would like to modify your service, we require at least 7 days-notice. We will provide you with an estimate for the change in services.


10. Terminating/Cancellation

Written notification of termination of services must be received 30 days prior to the desired end

date. Cleanings that fall inside the 30 day window will default to the cancellation fees below.


Fees for cancellation of cleaning shall be as follows:

● More than 30 days-notice. 

○ No Fees.

● Cancellations with more than 48 business hours-notice 

○ 50% of Service Fee.

● Cancellations with less than 48 business hours-notice. 

○ 100% of Service Fee.


11. Quality Guarantee

Plan: B Cleaning strives to be a premium cleaning company. Therefore, our services are guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with how any area of your home was cleaned, we must be notified within 24 hours. We also require pictures of the area (or item) be provided electronically. Pictures can be emailed or texted to your local office. If notified within 24 hours, we will schedule a time to come to your home and fix the problem at no charge to you.


12. Refunds/Discounts

We do not provide refunds or discounts. It is our policy to return to your home and fix problem

areas. Please see our Quality Guarantee above.


13. Broken Items

You agree to not hold Plan: B Cleaning responsible for items in your home that are damaged because they are not properly secured, fragile and we have not been notified, or have not been properly maintained.


14. House Preparation

Please secure any valuables, including but not limited to heirlooms, collectables, irreplaceable or expensive objects, cash, and/or credit cards, in your home so that they are not damaged or lost during your cleaning. Please remove all dishes from the sink. Please remove all clutter from the counters. Please remove all items from the floor where vacuuming is expected. Please let us know if you have any items that you prefer we not clean or handle.


15. Climate Control

The temperature of your home must be at a reasonable setting prior to us arriving. Please make sure your home is between 68 °F and 72 °F. If the temperature of your home is extremely hot or cold the team will leave your home and you will be charged for the full clean.


16. Pets

We are pet friendly and do not mind if your pets are out and about while our cleaners are in your home. If your pet is aggressive around strangers, we do ask that you secure them on cleaning days. Please notify us of any special requirements in handling your pet(s). If your pet becomes aggressive during your clean the cleaning team has the right to leave your home. You will still be charged for your full clean.


17. Lifting and Climbing

Climbing and lifting heavy objects increases the risk of injury to your cleaner. Therefore, we do not include climbing beyond 3 steps on a ladder or lifting more than 20 pounds in our standard services. In cases where you require something just out of arm’s reach to be cleaned you must provide a working ladder or step stool. If you require an exemption for either of the above, you must notify our office prior to your cleaning. please contact our office. If you would like cleaning behind heavy objects, it is your responsibility to move all heavy objects prior to cleaning. You expressly agree to release Plan: B Cleaning from any and all liability for any damage caused by moving furniture.


18. Visitors

Our cleaners are instructed to lock the home and not permit visitors of any sort to enter when you are not at home. If you know that someone will be in your home, you are required to notify us before your cleaning. We ask that you do not schedule Contractors or any work to be done on your home on your scheduled day for cleaning. Examples of this are windows cleaned, painting done, carpet cleaning, or appliances installed. It is very hard for us as well as them to work around each other. This uses up valuable time and we cannot guarantee the ability or quality of cleaning in the areas where work was done. If our ability to clean is inhibited in any way because of visitors/third parties, you will still be charged for 100% of your Service Fee and our Quality Guarantee shall not apply.


19. What We Do Not Clean

We do not perform certain services because our cleaners have not been trained, licensed, or carry

the proper tools to do so. The list below is not all inclusive.


● We do not wipe or clean TV and computer screens.

● We do not provide any services related to the care of animals, children, or adults.

● We do not clean animal cages, litter boxes, animal droppings, human feces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing, and/or other similar biohazards.

● We do not clean out fireplaces.

● We do not clean carpet.

● We do not do full window cleaning.

● We do not clean homes that have bug or rodent infestations. If it is determined that your home has an infestation your cleaners have the right to leave the property. You will be charged the full price of your service.


20. Non-Compete/Referral Fee

If you would like to hire a specific present or past Plan: B Cleaning cleaner for any cleaning services outside of this agreement, you agree to pay a referral fee of $2,500.00 (two-thousand five-hundred dollars) to Plan: B Cleaning. All cleaners are under a non-compete contract for a period of one year after they are discharged.


21. Liability and Governing Law

A. Plan: B Cleaning ​shall have no liability to the Customer for any loss, damage, costs and other claims arising from information or instructions supplied by

Customer that are incomplete or incorrect


B. This Agreement, and all transactions contemplated hereby, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana. The parties herein waive trial by jury and submit to personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in Hamilton County, Indiana.


22. Attorney Fees

In the event that litigation results or arises out of this Agreement, the parties agree to reimburse the prevailing party’s reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and all other expenses, whether or not taxable by the court as costs, in addition to any other relief to which the prevailing party may be entitled.


23. No Waiver

No failure on the part of either party at any time to require performance by the other party of any term hereof shall be taken or held to be a waiver of such term or in any way affect such party’s right to enforce such term, and no waiver on the part of either party of any term hereof shall be taken or held to be a waiver of any other term hereof or the breach thereof.


24. Severability

The invalidity or unenforceability of any particular provision hereof shall not affect the other provisions, and this Agreement shall be construed in all respects as if such invalid or unenforceable provision had not been contained herein.


25. Assignment

No party to this Agreement may assign this Agreement or such party's rights, duties and obligations hereunder without the prior written consent of the other party hereto, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Subject to the foregoing, this Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties to this Agreement and their legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns.

26. Entire Agreement; Written Modifications; Construction

This instrument, together with the related documents referred to herein, contains the entire agreement between Customer and Plan: B Cleaning with respect to the subject matter hereof. All representations, promises and prior or contemporaneous understandings between the parties are merged into and expressed in this instrument, and any and all prior agreements between the parties are hereby canceled. This Agreement shall not be amended, modified or supplemented without the written agreement of Customer and Plan: B Cleaning. The terms and conditions hereof represent the results of bargaining and negotiations between the parties, and neither of which has acted under duress or compulsion, whether legal, economic or otherwise. Consequently, the terms and conditions hereof shall be interpreted and construed in accordance with their usual and customary meanings, and the parties hereby expressly waive and disclaim, in connection with interpretation and construction hereof, any rule of law or procedure requiring otherwise, specifically including, but not limited to, any rule of law to the effect that ambiguous or conflicting terms or conditions contained herein shall be interpreted or construed against the drafting party.

How is a General & Deep Clean different?

For Deep Clean:

All surfaces-baseboards, touch points, blinds, doors, trim, are hand wiped to clean and disinfect. Light fixtures are taken down and cleaned (within 3 step ladder reach).    

Fronts of cabinets are hand wiped (drawers are vacuumed and wet wiped when necessary) 

How much do your charge for cleaning?

For Residential Cleaning:

Cleaning prices are based on the size of your home, scope of work, and frequency. We like to talk to each client to determine what exactly is needed. Our minimum visit rate is $125.

For Commercial and Office Cleaning:

Each space is unique and presents the need for a custom quotation. Please contact our office at (317) 572-8515

Do we need to be present for the clean?

It’s totally your choice. You may stay the entire time, you may leave the entire time or come and go as you please. This is your space, and we appreciate being there to help clean. 

Do you bring our own cleaning supplies?

Yes we do, our cleaning technicians are trained on these products and equipment and they are comfortable using them.

Do you send the same team for each clean?

We operate in small teams comprised of 1-2 dedicated Cleaning Professionals. While we strive to uphold a standard of consistency in our service delivery, there may be instances where your assigned Cleaning Professional is on a day off or if you reschedule your cleaning appointment. In such cases, an alternate Cleaning Professional may be assigned to attend your home. Our overarching objective is to ensure a seamless and outstanding service experience regardless of the assigned team member. Our meticulous system of notes and comprehensive training protocols plays a crucial role in maintaining the desired level of consistency throughout our service offerings.
